This one comes from It's quick and easy to make, and then you've got it on hand for a fast meal. I like to cut boneless skinless chicken breast into bite-size pieces, toss with this coating, then fry in a little oil. Great on a salad!!

Cornmeal And Herb Chicken Coating

1 C dry bread crumbs
1 C powdered milk
1 C cornmeal
1 C flour
3 T salt
1 T dry thyme
1 T pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp dried oregano

Recipe makes enough coating for 3 chickens, each 2 1/2 to 3 pounds. Store unused mixture in an airtight container.
